The Glory is Cannes, Victoria Silvstedt x Elena Socoloschi in Du Cap Eden Rock

Elena Socoloschi de Alba at the Cannes Film Festival

Fashion’s clock ticks at the Cannes Film Festival, where cinema meets couture. For the second consecutive year, fashion designer Elena Socoloschi, together with renowned Italo-Argentine fashion producer Nicolás Pesce Freijo, conducted a special shoot at the prestigious Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes—the celebrity favorite and the most iconic hotel on the French Riviera.

The duo came together for an exclusive production featuring a cover shoot with Swedish model Victors Silvestres, who posed in the best locations wearing Elena’s latest collection. Cannes 2025 reached new heights in fashion with a cover that fused style, creativity, and the unmistakable luxury of the French Riviera, thanks to this outstanding team of professionals.

In an exclusive interview with Elena, she shared details of this unforgettable shoot for the Cannes 2025 season.

Q1. How does it feel to be part of one of the world’s most important fashion and film events for the second year in a row?

Returning to Cannes is incredibly emotional. This event is a global showcase for creatives and artists, and being part of it again this year is a strong affirmation for me. I feel grateful, motivated, and even more inspired to continue pursuing my vision.

Q2. You’re self-taught, and each of your pieces is designed and crafted by you, made for unique individuals. This makes your brand distinctive and recognizable. What are your expectations for the Italian fashion scene?

I want to bring new energy to Italian fashion—an energy based on authenticity, art, and creative freedom. My goal is for my brand to be recognized for its uniqueness and for the deep connection it creates between emotion, identity, and beauty. I hope to leave a lasting impression that goes beyond trends.

Q3. You’re working with a professional team in one of the most iconic places on the Riviera, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, and alongside a figure like Victoria Silvstedt. What does this experience mean to you?

This is the second time I’ve collaborated with Victoria Silvstedt and worked with my team at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Coming together in such an iconic place is truly special. This experience reflects the perfect balance of beauty, professionalism, and mutual trust.

Q4. We understand you’re organizing a charity gala dinner, where you’ll also present your new collection. What other projects do you have planned for 2025?

Alongside the charity gala and the new collection launch, I plan to take part in several exclusive events both in Italy and abroad. My goal for 2025 is to strengthen the international presence of the brand by pursuing collaborations and projects that unite fashion, culture, and social impact.

Q5. You’re now considered one of the most promising emerging designers. From Alba to the world—with the best team and impeccable communication—your brand is featured in the most prestigious fashion magazines. What’s your method for reaching this level?

I truly believe in the power of authenticity. Each of my creations is born from a pure artistic impulse, without patterns. I don’t follow sketches—I shape the fabrics directly on the mannequin. Working with a united team and trusting my style has allowed me to grow and bring my vision to an increasingly wider audience.
